“WILLIAM’S DAHLIA” was inspired by a dear friend who shared with me a photo of a stunning dahlia which he had grown himself, and I was moved to capture it’s beauty. Painting my own interpretation of the bloom with delicate layers of pinks and soft touches of peachy/gold, red and purple, I wanted the flower to stand out as though it was glowing and radiating light.
