Hi Friends,
I hope you are all keeping well and staying cool in this hot weather!
Firstly, before I go any further, I want to say that it is my awesome husband, Brian’s, Birthday today. We are looking forward to celebrating with him as a family and spoiling him today. He really is the most incredible man and everyone absolutely loves him - sacrificial, kind and loving as well as cheeky and funny! Always willing to stop and chat or pray with people he meets - “We love you Brian - have an incredible Birthday, and all our love to you always”. He has been a great support to me since I started my art journey and also with our previous business “House of Morgan”. He still bakes the best Anzac Biscuits and Millionaire’s Shortbread! He’s just the best and I am so thankful to the Lord for him!
It’s been a busy time recently organising for everything for my upcoming exhibition at Himley Hall. There is a lot to do, but it has been wonderful. Not long to go now! The exhibition of my paintings will start on 20th August - 20th October, so please come along if you are free during that time.
Also, great news! Our dear friend, Ben Aldridge, has kindly created my first PROMOTIONAL DOCUMENTARY VIDEO to showcase my journey as an artist so far, and also a glimpse into my story. Ben has done a fantastic job and I am so happy with it. The video shows many of my pantings and shares the inspiration behind some of my most personal pieces. Not only did I want to share my art journey, but I wanted to share some of my challenges and how my faith has been prevalent throughout, giving glory to God for all His faithfulness. I know some of my story will resonate with others, and I am so thankful for the encouraging feedback I have aleady had where my video and paintings have touched and inspired others.
Finally, I am so thankful to my wonderful husband, Brian, for all his encouragement and help and my dear parents and children who constantly bless me. I am so thankful to you all. Many thanks and blessings, once again, to Ben Aldridge for the awesome video he created for me.
