2026 - happy & blessed new year

Hi Dear Friends,

I wish you all a very blessed and Happy New Year, and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.

This new year I’ve had a wonderful time returning to my love of making homemade preserves for my friends and family. The Christmas holidays are always my favourite time to relax and enjoy cosy breakfasts in my warm kitchen. One of my favourite breakfasts this time of year includes my Orange & Lemon Marmalade with Cinnamon. It is perfect on a slice of sourdough toast with a morning coffee, and is a lovely change from my usual oats and fruit. Over the couple of weeks before Christmas I organised to make a batch of marmalades using my original recipe from several years ago when I had my small business, “House of Morgan Preserves”. It’s so lovely to revisit and recreate my preserves once again.

Although I’m not yet quite ready to sell my preserves fully as a food business again, I look forward to preparing for when that time comes. Until then, I will enjoy making them for my friends and family.
